She wanted to give it to her for the new years as the friend had wanted an illustration of her husband. I actually started this on December 24th, and then stopped after 3 hours. I only started drawing again on the 4th of this week.

It’s coming out better than I expected. For the first half of the face, I was getting worried that it wouldn’t look like him, but I have to say that this is one of my most accurate portrait, or at least looks like the reference the most.

I admit that some of the parts are my worst though, as in, the hair. I have to finish it tomorrow because I’m going back to Atlanta on Saturday. So I’m in quite a rush, which explains the horrible hair. I just have the shirt to do tomorrow.


I’ll post a semi full work in progress when I can to show what most of the anatomy looked like before I shaded in.
