Tags are finally added

I finally updated the tags page a few days ago with signatures/tags/banners, whatever you want to call them, from 2009. I think I have improved from 2007, but there are still room for improvements since there are a lot of rotten signatures in these batches.

I haven’t made many this year. I would say that I’ve made maybe only 4, which is sad, really sad. I blame first year of college. Oh well, I plan to make more. Mostly of SNSD/Girls’ Generation (a top girl group in Korea). I’ve been obsessed with them recently, especially Tiffany and Taeyeon.

My summer started on May 13th, but I haven’t done much at all ever since then. I made 2-3 client templates and worked on one theme that is still in progress to be coded by Creative-Le. A day ago, I started on another template, but today, I decided that I have some things I need to do before that.

Those things include drawing a portrait, finishing a large canvas piece that I started like four months ago, as well as making some resources. I have my doubts on whether or not I’ll finish though, because on the 8th, I have to start doing some research and writing reviews for my research lab.

Anyway, here is a preview of the themes I worked on.

This is the stock that I started to use for the large canvas earlier this year. Look forward to the piece.

Autumnal Landscape + Macbook Pro

I know. It’s been a very long time since I last updated. I promised that I would update more when I made this blog, but clearly that wasn’t the case. All things aside, it’s summer now so I have some time to design and draw before I have to start on my summer research studies.

Oh, and how can I forget–I got my Macbook Pro 15.4″ laptop Saturday. I’ve been using it so far with ease and I love it. I was originally worried about switching over, but I’m glad I did. Mac is pretty easy to use if you’re not too use to Windows. And now with a Macbook, I kind of have a desire to design and such to test it.

But before I do that, I painted something for my room, which is technically mine only for the summer.

If you know me, you would know that I have no creativity whatsoever and that I can only draw and paint what I see. So without further ado, here is a horrible re-paint of Florian Olga Wisinger’s painting. I used acrylic, which I hate and is horrible with, but the canvas was also bad. So I knew this painting was doomed from the start.

So yes, as you can see, I’m not good with acrylic at all. I prefer water color. This was the last acrylic I did. It was for my sister.

Vtension Version 3

Finally, the structure and design of version 3 of Vtension is complete. It’s hard to let go of my previous layout–the one with the painting, but I finally did it. However, I did left the layout around for those who want to browse it, here.

This time around, the site is more blog-like. I went with a simple and easy to navigate design. The blog is powered by WordPress. I wanted Vtension to be more interactive, and with it being a blog, I will strive to update more.

Currently, ~~some~~ many of the pages are empty because I have not updated them yet. I want to start fresh with the content, so I will only be posting works that I really like. Older works will be at the archive of version 2 of Vtension.
Many many thanks to Dan, aka Creative-Le, who coded the site for me. I really appreciate all the work that he has put into the site. Speaking of which, he and I plan to create a website solely for holding design contests. The idea stems from me wanting to hold contests on my blog when launched. So be on the look out for either of that and more.

I hope you guys like the new structure. There will definitely be more goods to come; such as tutorials and resources.
